Hal McClure was a U.S. Air Force pilot, newspaperman and foreign correspondent before entering the Travel Adventure Cinema field.

For more than two decades he covered top news stories that took him from Hollywood and New York to the wars of Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and the capitals of Europe.

He has shot a dozen Travel-Adventure documentaries since entering the field in the 1970’s, and has been a leader in moving the industry into the Digital Cinema Age.

A member of the Travelogue Hall of Fame, he is also editor and co-owner of Travel Adventure Cinema Magazine, and is listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World.

He makes his home in Southern California.
